June 2014 Issue of Guardian Angel Kids Ezine Now Online!

GAKThe June 2014 issue of Guardian Angel Kids magazine is dedicated to children with special needs. In her letter to readers, Poetry Editor Donna J. Shepherd says, “…every child is worthy of acceptance and compassion.” The GAP family couldn’t agree more.

This month’s special features include the book, Sarah’s Socks – My World of Autism by Litsa Kamateros and Nia Morfonios and a Special Olympics skater video.

Demarquis Lamar Johnson shares his poem, “Super Power,” and short stories come to you from Trisha Faye, Annette McDermott, and Catherine May Webb. The kids are heading back to school, so that makes it the right time to talk about bullying in all its ugly forms.

This month’s book feature is Benjamin Jay was a Bully by Emma Glover and illustrated by K.C. Snider. The poem “Chy’s Guys” comes to you from Donna J. Shepherd, along with an accompanying video. We have four shorts stories for you this month and our non-fiction article is “Hen Pecked” by Shari L. Klase.
